Tim Comrie is a Toronto-based painter. His work is a synthesis of contemporary graffiti and Modernist abstraction. Collecting imagery of personal interest through photographs, he goes to work altering pictorial content to make visible the emotional and psychological subtexts the imagery suggests to him.
